Returning from Las Vegas, the sense of awe from RE+ 2025 has yet to fade. This year’s exhibition made it abundantly clear that the energy transition has evolved from questioning the "why" to mastering the "how," with intelligence and integration at the heart of this shift.
Standalone component sales were scarcely seen on the show floor—instead, integrated solar-storage-charging solutions dominated as the new mainstream. The deep incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) left a strong impression, empowering everything from power plant management to grid load forecasting. AI is rapidly becoming the "brain" behind enhanced energy efficiency. Another standout trend was the diversification of energy storage technologies. Beyond ongoing advancements in lithium batteries, long-duration energy storage solutions are stepping out of the lab and onto the exhibition stage, opening new possibilities for grid stability.
The biggest takeaway came from conversations with countless industry peers, reinforcing the belief that we are standing at an inflection point of technological convergence. RE+ 2025 didn’t just display products—it sketched a clear blueprint of a highly interconnected, intelligent, and resilient energy ecosystem.
