Performance Characteristics

Adaptation to Special Environments: It can operate safely in mines with explosive risks where methane mixtures and coal dust are present. It has features such as being flame-retardant, having high fireproof performance and not producing harmful gases.

Excellent Electrical Performance: High-quality silicon steel sheets are selected to reduce the magnetic flux density and the magnetostrictive amount of the silicon steel sheets, effectively reducing noise. The structure of the high-voltage coil is optimized to improve the distribution of interlayer voltage and capacitance, enhance the ability to withstand atmospheric overvoltage and switching overvoltage impacts, and reduce the partial discharge amount.

Strong Overload and Short-circuit Resistance: It has a relatively strong overload capacity and short-circuit resistance, and can provide stable power supply under the complex working conditions of shearers, reducing the number of power outages caused by overload or short-circuit faults and improving the working efficiency of shearers.

Low Losses: Through optimized design and the selection of high-quality materials, the no-load losses and load losses of the transformer are reduced, improving the energy utilization efficiency and reducing the coal mining cost.

Insensitivity to Dust: In the dusty environment underground in coal mines, its performance is not affected by dust and it can maintain a stable operating state, reducing the incidence of failures caused by dust accumulation.

Simple Maintenance: It has a relatively simple structure, requires little maintenance work, and the maintenance operations are convenient, which can reduce the maintenance cost and downtime of shearers.

Cooling Method

Air Cooling Device: It is usually equipped with an air cooling device, and the fan can be automatically started according to the load size for cooling, effectively improving the overload capacity of the equipment and ensuring that the temperature of the transformer remains within a reasonable range during high-load operation.
