Introduction to Mine Flameproof Mobile Substations

Structure and Composition

• Mine Flameproof Dry-Type Transformer: The iron core is made of high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets, with a fully inclined non-punched structure. The insulation class is B or H, and it is air-cooled.

• Flameproof High-Voltage Load Switch Cabinet: The high-voltage side switch has evolved from an air-type load switch to a load switch with a spring operating mechanism, and then to a high-voltage vacuum switch with an independent isolation. Its protection functions have been continuously improved.

• Flameproof Low-Voltage Feeder Switch Cabinet: The low-voltage side switch has developed from a simple air switch to a vacuum switch, and now only a protection box is retained. The protector adopts PLC programmable intelligent comprehensive protection.

Working Principle

• Electric Energy Conversion and Transmission: It converts the electric energy from the high-voltage power grid in the mine into low-voltage electric energy suitable for the use of mining equipment in the mine through a dry-type transformer, transmits it to the low-voltage feeder switch cabinet, and then distributes it to various electrical equipment.

• Fault Protection Mechanism: When short circuits, open phases, overheating occur in the transformer or overloads, short circuits, and leakage occur in the low-voltage power supply, it can automatically cut off the high-voltage side switch to achieve protection.

Performance Characteristics

• High Safety: The flameproof enclosure can effectively prevent gas or coal dust explosions caused by internal electrical faults and protect the safety of the mine.

• Good Mobility: It can be moved along with the advancement of the mining face, which can better solve the problems of excessive voltage drop or insufficient short-circuit protection sensitivity.

• Large Capacity: It can meet the requirements of large-capacity and high-voltage power supply for heavy-duty mechanized coal mining units.

• Complete Functions: It has multiple protection functions such as overload, short circuit, leakage, leakage lockout, overvoltage, and undervoltage, and can also realize four remote functions including remote control, remote measurement, remote signaling, and remote adjustment.
